It’s 2021 – and we’re getting ready for term 1!
There are some new events planned for this term… and old ones repeated… one more date night! See below…
Playfulness and Curiosity!
Creativity is contagious! The studio has been up and running for almost two months now! The huge chalk wall is a winner! Check our Facebook page for event updates. Mums-and-daughters Art Date, Women’s Wellness, Father’s Day Art Date, Self-Care for those in the helping professions, Artists Open Studio – these are all happening right here in this space!
Soul Images Expressive Arts Studio!
It’s official. Soul Images is now based in Casabella Lane in the heart of Hamilton. I will be practicing there as Clinical Arts Therapist, using the arts as language of expression and exploration while providing a safe therapeutic supportive relationship. Alongside Arts Therapy, the studio will be hosting different Arts for Wellness programs for families as well as corporates. Arts for Wellness programs can be tailored for team-building events and self-care sessions.
Arts for Wellness initiatives include mark-making, drawing, painting, collage, mixed-media, photography, image altering, dance, drumming, creative movement, and puppetry. The two key elements of all activities in the studio are curiosity and playfulness. It is always about the process, not the product.
Check in at the studio if you are in Hamilton CBD, or look online for updates on group sessions.
Just launched in partnership with Ultimate Transformations… Samantha Says is a series of videos for kids – exploring different ways kids can deal with worries and anxiety. Samantha Says is the creation of Arts Therapist Elske Reyneke-Barnard. Check out Samantha Says here!
